Background:
Esiila Lecter was born in 1158 AD in Transylvania, the child
of a wealthy land owner & one of his servants. She was sold as a
servant girl to a dubious, shady man. He was cruel and abusive
to her. Eventually, after years of torture, Esiila could take no
more and in the darkness of night, crept into her master's
chambers and stabbed him to death, before running out of the
manor in a panic.
On the streets, Esiila quickly learned she had to use what she
had to survive, and thus fell into the profession of
prostitution. But some nights it would provide shelter and a
warm place to sleep and thus, it had its perks. Esiila was not
stupid though, and she quickly developed her own brand of
transactions, taking clients on her own terms and telling other
girls how to work similarly.
Somewhere along the lines, she met and befriended a doctor by
the name of Johannes. He told her on which days to not work,
less she become sick or pregnant. He watched out for the
destitute and kept them safe and clean and fed enough if times
were too hard and winters were too cold.
It was he who watched her as she transformed from waiflike girl
into walking, corpse-like monster. Johannes was already embraced
and he carefully eased Esiila through the rough process. This
experience cemented there friendship.
When finally comfortable with herself, Esiila went back out into
the world, easily overthrowing her 'employer' and claiming the
girls as her own. She taught the girls how to control men with
there minds and bodies. It was there's to give, but on there
terms, no one elses. 'Love' was what they sold, but they also
were in control of it. They mastered it.
One night, Esiila's Sire, Ritor the Wicked, finally appeared to
her. He proposed she travel with a band of others similar
to her. At first, Esiila refused, not trusting Ritor for one
moment. Even when he promised her land of her own, Esiila was
skeptical. Yet she went, if only because she learned Johannes
too, was to travel with this group.
At first, Esiila, weary and under confident, lingered in the
back of the crowd, silently admiring the large man, Baeodan, and
shadowing Johannes, turning the final key that locked the two
together by stabbing one of his attackers in the spine.
Soon after, Johannus proposed that he and Esiila bind themselves
together with blood, so that no one else could trick them into
submission. Esiila agreed, wishing not to becomes a slave again.
Through various means, Esiila claimed a piece of Transylvania
for herself, creating within it one big House of Debauchery. She
ghouled her Girls (And boys...) for small periods of time to
keep them disease free and attentive, yet she never created
Childer that were worthy of mention. This is not to say however,
that her own little tree didn't branch out. Over time she
bequeathed her city to Nick, a Toreador whom switched from
Sabbat to Camarillia, and Rosamarie, a Ravnos gypsy woman became
his right hand. She also, through sheer charisma, acquired
several other allies which she considered her 'other' coterie,
the dearest of all were a romantic Toreador called Algol and a
Cappadocian called Astrid.
The road Esiila walked was one of paradox, which allowed Fate to
use her in ways none of her coterie could be used. Through Fate,
she had gained a second sight, visions from the dark God, Kupala.
Because of these blessed visions, Esiila began to regard goats
and Kupala as sacred, and would dutifully listen to her God,
choosing only Johannes' word over Kupala's.
But eventually, circumstances split apart her coterie, and
Esiila went to England and spent her years with Algol, teaching
him the ways of the Kindred. Though Algol was much older then
she, He spent a lot of time in Torpor, and did not know as much
as she. Thus, Esiila was adopted as Algol's 'sire'.
Esiila, to the public, is now known as Racy Phantom, a Japanese
bondage gear designer and model. However, Esiila or Helena as
she is sometimes called, now tours with Algol as the violin
accompanying his deep, mournful voice in a group called Dirge of
Bedlam. Though in Kindred circles, she is still Esiila the
Listener.

When not disguising herself, Esiila is a gangley, skeletal
thing which looks somewhat like a cross between Yzma and Gollum.
Her eye sockets are overly large, and her grey eyes are clear
orbs within them. Her ears point and her gossimar-like, blonde
hair falls to her shoulders, surrounding a bald spot at the top
of her head. Her breasts sink down low and she usually wears
low, V-necked dresses which show off her ribs which lay between
her sagging breasts. She is fond of masks.
Despite her ghastly appearance, there's a certain pride and
grace when she moves, head held high.
Role-playing Hints:
Esiila has a habit of lurking behind the rest of the group,
listening and keeping her thoughts to herself, unless to leave a
remark or two that could be either scathing or enigmatic,
depending on one's interpretation. She's deathly loyal to very
few, especially Johannus, but admitting such things is
dangerous, so she lets her actions speak for her.
When sleazing and skulking around to gather information, her
senses become all encompassing, but her mind becomes tunnel-visioned,
just focusing on her mission, and not letting herself be
distracted.
Sometimes she'll claim the strangest faces, but there's usually
a method to her madness. Usually.
She holds great contempt for Malkavians, even though she herself
diabolized one and has tasted that jabbering madness.
God is an idea that just IS. The church is fun to piss off.
Pretty, perfect people should be scarred. They know nothing
until then.
Don't hurt a child. Never hurt a goat.
